James Arlie Montgomery Elementary School is situated in a south area neighborhood of the Houston Independent School District (HISD), located at 4000 Simsbrook Street, Houston, Texas 77045. We are a vanguard neighborhood elementary school offering Pre-K through 5th grade. 

We offer Dual Language instruction one way for Spanish speakers from Pre-K to 3rd grade and ESL support in 4th and 5th grade. Additionally, we provide all English classes from Pre-K to 5th grade. 

We are in our second year of implementing the NES model. Having improved academic achievement tremendously in our first year as NES!

Ofrecemos el programa de bilingüe (Dual Language) hablantes de español desde Pre-Kínder hasta 3.º grado, y apoyo de ESL (Inglés como Segundo Idioma) en 4.º y 5.º grado. También ofrecemos clases completamente en inglés desde Pre-Kínder hasta 5.º grado.
